who is luluDesigns?

After a fascination with photography as a young child I first started my photographic studies in 1993 and then after travelling to the UK on my OE I studied again between 2000 and 2002. While working in PR for The Body Shop in London I also gained experience doing corporate photography, for marketing and publicity purposes. I also photographed extensively while travelling around Europe. I shot my first wedding in 2000, and have since been called in to do many weddings in both North and South islands as well as Australia and England.

On return to my home country of New Zealand I moved to Paihia in the Bay of Islands in 2003. I started up a photography design label, Lulu Designs, selling cards and canvasses in stores throughout New Zealand and I have had several exhibitions in New Zealand. My passion is capturing New Zealand's nature and flowers. Through the lens of the camera even the smallest natural object has an innate beauty we often fail to notice.

I enjoy photographing beautiful moments in natural locations. I hope you enjoy my images as much as I have enjoyed capturing them. Lucy Anna Doull
